What are the general takeaway ideas from the exhibit?
Here are a few. This list isn't comprehensive, more will be added!

Some of these will be communicated directly through the exhibit, others may be through conversations, or and presentations at special events.

- We are testing new mediums of public science education.

- We developed significant technological tools that can be used for future EEG and biosensor research.

- This offers you permission to be interested in the brain, regardless of background

- This is a point of entry to be curious to learn more about the brain. This should be a jumping off point, a teaser. Something to make people want to know more and likewise see the potential benefit of knowing more. Understanding how greater knowledge [and control] of their brain will directly impact their life.

- Art can be used to communicate scientific ideas. Well-designed art can give students a more visceral understanding of ideas that they encounter in science classes. Also, the study of biology can inspire product and art design, because both disciplines are concerned with principles of form and function.

- Social, ethical, and legal implications of this technology must be considered at every step in its development. In the past,  monopolistic or ethical misuse of new technologies has been combated by open access to the technology and public awareness of how it worked.
